Oh piss off, Kurt. A bad book is the worst robber, according to the Italians. Or at least the one I stole that quotation from. A bad book promises to flip the switch in your head where your eyes have brains and your emotions have imagination and you can give both of those original faculties a rest...
and then it doesn't.
