"Sometimes I think it is a great mistake to have matter that can think and feel. It complains so. By the same token, though, I suppose that boulders and mountains and moons could be accused of being a little too phlegmatic."

~Kurt Vonnegut

Rivers never listen, moss is incredibly stubborn, and tumbleweeds are infuriatingly indecisive.

  1. ah, but one does anthropomorphize, doesn't one?

For surely rivers listen to those that speak the language, moss yields to be unbroken and tumbleweed responds in decisive order to the chaos of the winds - no? And not to mention (yet I must) the mask appeal of shallow and strategic phlegmaticism. d

  2. Well, one must do what one must do.

Rivers may converse, but they don't negotiate....

  3. At least not with any investment in the outcome. Pretty open minded in that sense. d

  4. Openminded...OR COMMUNIST!!!!!!!

(Sometimes argumentational logic must be sacrificed for the good of loaded words)
